This web-site was conceived and made possible through the efforts of many volunteers of Maithri, Kochi. The objectives this web-site sets for itself are:

• Reach out to suicidal or despairing individuals, especially those belonging to Kerala, to encourage them to seek emotional support.

• Invite wider attention towards suicide prevention in Kerala, the state with the worst suicide rate in India. 

• Generate interest among concerned individuals and organisations in the suicide-prevention activities of Maithri, Kochi, with a view to enlisting their support and co-operation. 

Volunteers of Maithri thank you for having visited this site. We are keen to know how you felt while browsing this site.
